hear ye hear ye

One might think that I have been remiss in my duties to inform all of you of the daily (and fairly uneventful) happenings of my life. Others might say that my negligence is a sign of that which I have just stated (that being the lack of journable happenings). But fear not, for I have not forgotten completely about this place. And in fact (despite my starting sentances with "but" and "and") I actually have an update. Last night... well Saturday night (just to be clear) I went down to Santa Cruz for a few hours (few ended up being five or six I believe) and saw the Shakespeare Santa Cruz (SSC) production of Engaged (by W.S. Gilbert). That, just in case you were wondering, is hilarious, and the guy who played a character named Belvawney (Todd Adams) has the coolest hair (and is rather attractive from afar... unfortunately it's only from afar). It takes that standard Shakespearean mode of many extremely flawed characters (one of whom falls in love with every thing that moves and some things that don't) and all of which are incapable of change, but unlike that Shakespearean mode, it sports a happy ending (of sorts)... Anyway, I am now comtemplating growing my hair out a bit more to achieve something similar to his hair cut.
